Information & Assistance Specialist
The Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging (MNRAAA) is seeking a full-time Information & Assistance Specialist to provide phone-based comprehensive, clear, and objective information and assistance to older adults and their family members in either the Mankato or Slayton office (telecommuting may also be considered for people living in the MNRAAA service area). This position requires some limited travel and includes providing education and outreach to community groups, providers and individuals.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work, gerontology or related human service field. One year of professional or internship experience in the social services field, including long-term care, health care, social services or lead agency setting is also required. Degree in social work requires licensure or demonstrated progress/intent on securing licensure. Hourly wage range for this position is: $18.00 – $23.00.
Candidate must have a reliable vehicle to drive and possess and maintain a valid Minnesota driver’s license.
