Demographic and Service Area Maps

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a cartographic tool that helps visualize, question, analyze and interpret data to understand relationships, patterns and trends.  MNRAAA contracted with the Region Nine Development Commission to create over twenty GIS maps for MNRAAA’s twenty-seven county service area.  Examples of the type of information the maps include are demographics, location of evidence based program leaders and Title-III funded projects and services.  The maps identify gaps in services and will be used for planning future strategic, focused expansions.
