Demographic Service Data About Older Minnesotans Available Online
Mankato, MN, March 24, 2017 – The interactive Aging Data Profiles that provide demographic and service data about older Minnesotans are now live on the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) public website at http://mn.gov/dhs/partners-and-providers/news-initiatives-reports-workgroups/aging/aging-2030/data-profiles.
The Aging Data Profiles include statewide, regional and county-level demographic and service data. The profiles provide information on the variation and differences about our aging society to inform those developing programs, services and supports that help older adults live, work and engage in their communities. All data is about Minnesotans age 65 and older.
The Aging Data Profiles is an interactive dashboard, hosted on Tableau Public. Check out one of the tabs, filter by Area Agency on Aging (AAA) or economic development region (EDR), or by county. You can even download a PDF copy of the profiles and then print.
As the designated Area Agency on Aging for 27 counties in southwest Minnesota, the Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging, or MNRAAA, is a catalyst in building communities where older adults live with dignity, mutual respect and shared responsibilities across generations and cultures.
