The Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging (MNRAAA) provides advocacy, information, resources and assistance so that older adults can maintain the lifestyle of their choice.
MNRAAA’s Legislative Priorities for 2026:

Reauthorization of the Older Americans Act
- MNRAAA supports the Reauthorization of the Older Americans Act (OAA). The OAA creates community resources for older adults to access a wide array of programs and services, including information and referral to find help for their challenges with aging; congregate and home-delivered meals to address hunger, malnutrition, and social isolation; health and wellness programs; in-home care support; transportation; elder abuse prevention; adult day care, and other needed options.
- MNRAAA advocates for increased funding for OAA programs and services is essential to the health and independence of millions of older adults and caregivers, including the 128,662 of the older adults and numerous caregivers that live in our twenty-seven-county service area.

Volunteer Drivers – Federal
- MNRAAA advocates for transportation options that enable older adults to access services and reduce social isolation through continued support for volunteer drivers.
- MNRAAA is an active member of the Minnesota Volunteer Driver Coalition
